Yesterday, we launched a new feature called 30 Days of Irish Baseball. The idea is simple – we will post a new Irish Baseball item every day for the 30 days leading up to St. Patrick’s Day. If you’re new to Irish Baseball, it’ll get you up to speed on the who, what, when, where, and why of baseball in Ireland.

And if you’re already a fan of Irish Baseball, it’ll be a fun way to revisit some of the greatest baseball stories most people have never heard of day Irish baseball

In our first installment, we revisited the origins of the Irish National Baseball Team. Today, we see how the team prepared for its first international competition.
