Is it already Day 22 of our “30 Days of Irish Baseball” countdown? (hint: yes, it is).

In our seemingly never ending quest to post something related to Irish Baseball each day until St. Patrick’s Day, we have almost run out of ideas.

But, not really. We have a list, you see. And the list… it is long.

Today, we have an interview with baseball coach and former college player Eric Helmrich. Eric is the assistant coach at Iona Prep High School in NY. Iona is currently the defending chamption in the NYC “AA” Catholic High School league.

Last summer, the Baseball United Foundation sent Eric to Ireland for a week to run a baseball camp and work with players on the Irish National Baseball Team.

Listen as Eric explains what the trip meant to him and what he thinks of Irish Baseball!
