The roster of the 2017 18U Irish Junior National Team has been announced. Team Ireland will compete in the 18U European B-Pool Qualifying Tournament in Zurich, Switzerland, beginning July 10.

To play for Team Ireland, players are required to be Irish citizens. 

“We are very happy with the roster selections. We feel this team is very strong and, most importantly, very proud to represent Ireland on the baseball diamond,” explained Team Ireland General Manager John Fitzgerald. “We recruited players from across the world and selected the best of the best. Our roster includes players from Ireland, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and California.

Ireland takes on Belgium in Game 1 on the morning of Monday, July 10. This is the first time Ireland has fielded a team in the 18U division in international competition.
